Specialized equipment

Nucleom acquires many probes and specialized instruments.

In its commitment to stay current in Non-Destructive Examination newest technologies and processes, Nucleom has significantly increased its inventory of inspection equipment, such as phased-array analysis instruments and a new Eddy current probe that now allows detection and sizing of indications in ferrous materials, surpassing the efficiency of more traditional inspection methods such as MT and PT. Also, Nucleom is the first company to acquire Zetec’s Paintbrush, a probe encoded on two axes which greatly increases the speed of ultrasonic thickness measurements and C-scan mapping. In addition to these latest technologies, Nucleom has an inventory of phased-array instruments, tooling dedicated to piping inspection and automated scanners.
